At the Rodeo
Juror Traer Scott selected my photograph At the Rodeo for inclusion in the New York Center for Photographic Arts exhibition Portals which runs during the month of January 2022.
Four of my images will be shown from February through April 2022 in the Hamilton Family Gallery at Children's Hospital of Colorado (Aurora, Colorado) in a show titled The Best Medicine.

Frank with Wooly
Winter Chaps
I'm pleased that my portrait of cowboy Frank Spencer Frank in Woolly Winter Chaps was selected by jurors Debra Klomp Ching and Darren Ching of Klompching Gallery (New York, NY) for inclusion in the International Juried Exhibition at the Center for Photographic Art in Carmel, California. Thousands of images were submitted for this exhibition and just 45 were selected for inclusion in the gallery show.

Santa Doug
Lone Tree Arts Center (Lone Tree, Colorado) is showing a selection of my Santa Claus portraits, plus excerpts from my book We Are Santa, in an exhibition that runs from November 20 to January 7, 2022. The gallery is open weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm, and two hours before all theater performances. Get the details here

Photo London 2021
Photo London is one of the top photography events in the world for photography. Held at an historic venue in London, this year it features more than 100 galleries and publishers showing and selling work, offering curated exhibitions and other presentations. For Photo London 2021, I'm honored that Gallery Photiq will be showing eight of my prints in their booth no. D17.
Portrait of Humanity is a global project that solicits, edits and publishes 200 photographs recognizing "…the undeniable power photography has in the connected world we live in". For 2021, my image of cowboy Frank Spencer, ‘Frank with Wooly Winter Chaps’, was shortlisted and selected for inclusion in the book. Portrait of Humanity Volume 3 from 1854 Media and Hoxton Mini Press is available now directly from Hoxton Mini Press and at online booksellers.

Gathering Eggs
Spanish Peaks Arts Council (La Veta, Colorado) juror Michael Pach has selected three of my photographs -- Joaquin, The Laugh, and Dani Tribesman -- for inclusion in the 2021 Photography Show running during the month of August.
Juror and photography legend Arthur Meyerson selected my portrait of Comanche/Kiowa dancer Randale for inclusion in the exhibit "Color" running from July 23 to August 13 at PhotoPlace Gallery in Middlebury, Vermont.
My photograph Gathering Eggs will be featured at the 37th All Colorado Art Exhibit, held from July 27 to September 11 at the Depot Art Gallery, Littleton, Colorado. Lorenzo Chavez, juror.

Lauren Greyhawk (Diptych)
Gallery D'Art Denver, Month of Photography exhibit juror Maureen Roddy Burkhart awarded my diptych of Lauren Greyhawk Best in Show. The exhibit runs from April 8 to May 2.
Juror Karen Irvine awarded my portrait Franki Yellowflower first place in the color category of the 7th Annual Allegany National Photography Exhibition, April 3 - 24, Cumberland, MD.
Cleveland Photo Fest's Furtography exhibit of dog photographs will include Hello!, an image I made in Trinidad, Cuba. The exhibit runs May 1 - June 30.
The 7th International Fine Art Photography Awards received 4,929 entries from 92 countries. Eight of my images received nominations in the Portrait and People categories.
Gallery PH21, Budapest, Hungary, selected my portrait Frank with Wooly Winter Chaps for inclusion in its exhibit Personality: Contemporary Portraiture running from March 11 - April 3, 2020.
Museo de las Americas, Denver, Colorado will feature five of my portraits in its Colorado Month of Photography exhibit La Cara Nueva, the New Face of Photography running from March 26 to April 17, 2020.
My photograph Shadow and Stairs will be one of 100 images featured at the 2021 Eyes on Main Street Photography Festival in Wilson, North Carolina. For the duration of the festival, downtown Wilson storefronts, billboards and other public spaces are transformed into a public gallery space featuring huge prints of images from photographers representing over 45 countries. 2021 will be the 7th edition of this event.

Franki Yellowflower
New Mexico Magazine awarded my portrait of Franki Yellowflower Maestas-Chavez the top recognition in the "People" category. The image is featured in the February issue of the magazine and will be displayed at the Tularosa Basin Gallery of Photography in Carrizozo, NM for the balance of 2021.
Black & White Magazine featured two of my portraits, Lauren Greyhawk and Los Abuelos, in its February 2020 issue.
Los Angeles Center of Photography juror Marisa Caicholo selected two of my portraits for inclusion in the 5th annual fine art exhibition Exploring Humanity, November 10, 2020 through January 10, 2021. The photographs were my diptych of Native American dancer Lauren Greyhawk and my portrait of Cuban drag queen Joel.

Lauren Greyhawk
New Mexico Magazine awarded Lauren Greyhawk the 2020 Grand Prize for Photography. Both Lauren Greyhawk and my portrait of New Mexico artist Cynthia Perzabel were published in the February 2020 issue.
Midwest Center for Photography, Wichita, Kansas, selected three of my photographs, Sisters, At the Fence and Ana, for its 2020 Juried Exhibition (March 6 - 27).

The Laugh
The Art of Photography at the RG Enders Gallery (Prairie Village, Kansas) awarded The Laugh an Honorable Mention (April 6 - May 1, 2020)

Lone Tree Art Center (Lone Tree, Colorado) selected Lauren Greyhawk, Dani Tribesman #1 and Mother & Child for Exploring the Light 2020 (August - October 2020). Lauren Greyhawk was awarded Best Portrait.

Two Friends Confront
the Camera
Louisville Art Association, Louisville, CO selected four of my portraits for inclusion in its 26th National Photography Show (September 8 - 13, 2020). The selected images are Two Friends Confront the Camera, The Laugh, Joaquin and Lauren Greyhawk. Joaquin was awarded Best Portrait.
Black & White Magazine published eight of my portraits from the Dani (West Papua, Indonesia) Tribal series in the August 2020 issue. The series earned an Excellence Award from the publisher.

My work is now represented in the United Kingdom and Europe by Gallery Photiq in Royal Leamington Spa, England.
Children’s Hospital of Colorado has acquired six of my photographs as part of its permanent collection at its Main Campus in Aurora, Colorado.

Across the Dunes
PhotoPlace Gallery, Middlebury, Vermont juror Amy Holmes George awarded Across the Dunes the Director's Award for the show Finding Joy (October 1 - 23, 2020)

Southeast Center for Photography juror Brandon Thibodeaux selected two of my photographs, Los Abuelos and Frank with Wooly Winter Chaps, for inclusion in Portrait 2020 (November 6 - 28, 2020)
Naples Art Association (Naples, FL) will exhibit Lauren Greyhawk in its Camera USA 2020 show, scheduled for 2021.

Joaquin (Comanche)
Many of my photographs are being shown at Photo London 2020 (United Kingdom) including Joaquin (Comanche) which sold to a collector in Istanbul, Turkey.
